Sorry for the long story again. I enjoy telling my tales so hope you enjoy it. My dad and I headed up to one of my private spots near Crawford this morning to try and get ourselves a nice Merriam.

A serious Raptor poacher was convicted in northern California. As a former Falconer that had a Red Tail it is pretty ugly and glad he got a strong sentence.

This summer my family is planning a trip and we will be taking a detour off the route just to stop in Kansas City to eat lunch and try the KC BBQ.

I was out walking the dogs around a lake today.. Saw a few birds fly into a bay and noticed them go back past the shore. I followed and found a beaver pond I was un aware of.. I walked around it and walked out to a small point... I turned around and about stumbled and about that time I noticed a medium sized cottonmouth coiled up

So we’re looking at getting a SxS ATV/UTV. Thinking along the lines of a CanAm Commander, Kawasaki Teryx, etc. The use case would be riding Forest Service roads, getting off the road somewhat (nothing too extreme), chores around the house (including snow plowing), visiting friends who live nearby, and of course as a hunting rig.

I have always shot a 10 or 12 gauge for turkeys with all different kinds of loads an shell lengths... but this year I'm buying a benelli nova pump 20 gauge
