Went to goosenazi island 1-750. Put out a small spread of decoys.

Between the twenty knot winds, waves current, and the goose's out stretched wings under water, Tucker made a nice retrieve.

Seen spoon bills, redheads, gadwall, mallards and one BWT.

Mixed with about ten percent beef burger, it's all gone. Kids mixed it with frozen peas and it was devoured.

I'll even drop some goose meat off at the butcher for him to mix it with beef fat.

    Beautiful day to hunt.

Ten geese landed a little long outside the decoys. I practiced all summer with the Super Vinci, so I was a little slow with the second shot but was able to get one with the first.

Then 100 geese landed about 80 yards over. A little too far, so I left them alone. They walked over the hill then I packed up the big spread of eight decoys and walked back to the truck without spooking the birds.

So much for tomorrow as worked called and I'm needed to cover for a couple guys who are boarding up and evacuating their houses in Florida.
