The last time I heard a juvie moan was when I was dating a wild Hungarian girl in high school.:l:sp
I think what he might be referring to is ground talk.

Another vote for Riceland, but after reading this thread, I got a Redbone poly. So far, I can't tell much difference. I would say, each wil have their day.

To the original poster.... Just go listen to Nathan's sound files (on the RB site), then the other clips on the RedBone page. You will hear the realism that a RB gives. TO ME, a RB poly and the Riceland are the two best out there, BUT, there is a ton of more range in a RB. The tone in a RB is superior to the Riceland. The poly guts are legit. They actually just won the World Speck AND Snow contests this year. The poly RB is a really, really good call.

to save yourself a little money, try shortening the reed on the tone board. i have several half breeds that i have done this to and it seems to work pretty well.

"ps learn the juvie moan its deadly on specks but adult snows seem to get real stupid at times when they hear it."
Post a sound file of said "juvie moan" please I've ever heard of it. Maybe you are calling something already used by others by a different name though, not doubting you just curious.
    Thanks.

I did find the sound on you tube I guess they all do it we just saw a real demo by one with zero bars [ we've been told those r the youngens ] sorry! were real new at these birds hunted here over 60 yrs just the last couple have had specks. they are tastie and fun to watch on the ground. so far our bunch of old guys have avoided mistakes but a lot of juvie snows have benifited
