I've gone through most beers. Only drink light beer if it's the only thing available, will not buy it. I started on Hamm's when I was working for a guy at 16. Ended up back on it as my house beer by 30. I still am pretty tight with his son, who is my dads age. He laughs every time I stop over with some, tells me I went full circle and my life is now complete. Hard to disagree with that.

Ditch the dish and get Mediacom (or similar) internet. Put a cable splitter on the coaxial cable going to the router and run a cable from the splitter to your TV (and another going to the router). You’ll get free cable TV.. only downside is no TiVo.

Lemme tell you another trick- if you got a buddy with the same satellite provider- get him to order an extra box for another room in his house (used to be an extra $5 a month with DirectTV, not sure about now). Cancel your service and just put the new box they send your buddy where your old one was (or just pull the card out of it and put it in your box). Throw your buddy some money every month and you got cheap satellite.

For real? Last time i had it, it was about $95 a month (Direct)... and that was bout 6 or 7 years ago. Sure it’s cheap the first year, but rates go wayyyy up after that.

I paid $9.62 for years with Dish. They jacked it up and labeled me a problem customer so I went with Direct. Called to cancel with them when we hit $100 and they gave $50 off each month. We pay like $50 a month and that is with 2 receivers.
