I've got two ponds on my property that don't dry out. Each one holds 3-4 acres of water after drawdown and through out the summer. What would be some beneficial aquatic weeds/vegetation I could introduce in these ponds? Water depth is from 18" to about 30". Thanks.

What is water quality like? How much light penetrates?

water is pretty clear with light penetrating the bottom. There are some weeds already growing in them. I will get some pics this weekend to better show what I'm working with.

This is exactly the plant I had in mind when asking my initial questions. If it's not too deep and light penetration is fair to good, sago pondweed would be my go to.
