I'm looking into buying some full body mallards and I want some input on the best decoys out there.

Lots of good ones ,I personally like Avian x because they come with a bag that has a pouch for the stakes, makes them pretty easy to handle.GHG flocked heads are good also.

I haven't shopped field decoys lately but if you can find them, old style GHG full bodies looked then and look good now.

You need to define 'best'. Durability, cost, looks, weight, material. All those things make a difference.
Lots of info on the Decoy Forum.

    This for sure.

Look For a few uprights and then buy some of the feeder shells.

I've been satisfied with both Avian X and the GHG

I have a lot of fields I walk into, so I prefer the 5/8 shells with stakes. They seem to work just fine as compared to the full bodies, but much easier to carry out into the field. If standing water is in the field , I will also take out FUDS, which can be used as floaters or full bodies. I can fit 48 into a small backpack. If I can drive in, then full body GHG flocked are nice, but again, don't seem to work any better than my 5/8 shells.

First, you need to pick 2 of those criteria. Which 2 are the most important to you?
