    Thanks. It's always nice to see these.

    But every time they publish these numbers I can't help but question their accuracy.

    Albeit I'm ignorant to their scientific process and margin of error.

    My margin of error climbs when I'm counting birds in a marsh at 2000'.

    I think some of us humans want to have a feeling of control over, and try to give order to things that can't ever be controlled and will never be in order.

    There can be plenty of ducks but if no weather or anything, going to sit up north or migrate and sit in Ca. Numbers give some hope for good season, but Mother Nature makes or breaks the season.
