Anybody having any luck? The ones I was after evidently left for greener pastures. Got one shoot, 4 teal. Went late and left early but they didn't come back again. Duck count is on the Bellrose site. Looks like there are a few teal in the area but only about half the ten year average. Hot this weekend. I won't fight mosquitoes to shoot teal or geese. Post your results guys !!!

No doves this year but did well on geese. Lots of teal around the week prior to season but 0 the day we went.

Very similar story where I hunt, when we were building blinds the day after labor day there were teal everywhere. Opening day was like a ghost town. Still enough to make it worth going, but nothing like we were thinking it was going to be.

Saw good numbers of teal up to the Wednesday before the openner then gone. Shaping up to be one of the worst teal season in a long time. Could really use a few inches of rain here also. Hunting in this mud is no fun.
