Picked up a MOJO mallard butt rippler this morning. Total impulse buy.

Anyone have any thoughts on these?

There's one thing I know for sure, I'm going to enjoy watching it in the pool this afternoon while I drink beer. It's gonna to be like a mallard rap video.

I have two butt ripplers plus four quiver mags. They do create water movement on quiet days. On a breezy day, they create water movement some more.

Chlorine corrodes worse than saltwater. Careful what you test in the pool. I had the great idea of testing a homemade bilge decoy in mine. Rinsed the decoy after, but not the sealed 12v battery. Thin terminals corroded and broke. :doh

10-4. The chlorine dusted my boys RC boat.

He was about as devastated as I'd be if it messed up my new rippler.

Interested to see how you like your new toy. My big purchase this year was a couple of Higdon Crazy Kickers. Hope they work better at creating movement in a shallow flooded rice field than some of the bilge-pump decoys I've tried.

I just googled a couple videos of those, and they look amazing in action.

For years we've used Wonderducks in the middle of the spread on dead flat calm days. They create some nice ripples as well as swimming movement.
