When they look back on these times when they are older. They can be proud of their teacher.

Thanks to all the Dad's that put in the time and effort - to get them started the right way.

    Congrats Dad

Jon I really enjoy your pics and stories of you and your son's hunts. Always brings back great memories of growing up and hunting with my younger brother and dad. Those are memories I will never forget.
Keep it up you are making memories that will last a lifetime

Good going again Jon. 6yr old is probably real close. My guess is he was raised right so he will be ready !!! Started my grandson @ 7 w/ a Daisy Red Ryder BB gun. I put 3 or 4 old decoys out off to the side at 20 -40yds. I let him shoot those whenever he went w/me. Told him he had to learn how to hit them all w/one shot each before he went to the 20ga. My mistake !!! He was shooting my 20 ga. 870 half way through the season !!!

Rism...thats funny. This winter my 9 year old was struggling with his multiplication facts. I told him he got to start carrying a gun when he got them mastered. His older brother quizzed him daily and in less than a week that little sucker had them mastered. :l

Kids can be really amazing. First shot at a duck my grandson took w/ my 870 was a drake Shoveler. Came straight in. Told him to take him. Whacked him good at about 25 yds. Turned to me an said "one shot one kill, how do like them apples". Of course we got it mounted
