Boys first buck

    Congratulations young man. Its a trophy for sure!!!!! Its good to see everybody cheering him on as well. Now days everybody thinks it has to be 150" buck to be a good deer. But the truth of it is. Is that if you are happy then its as big as trophy as a 200" in deer. Congratulations again!!!

    My son shot his first buck at 11 a 3 pt. , with my favorite rifle Rem Mtn 7MM Mauser. I gave it to him that evening and he has shot a deer or more with every year . He is 31 now. Wow 20 years ago. Congratulations to you and your son that's all good stuff.

    My first deer wasn't much bigger and I was in my 20s. I will never forget that buck. Congrats to the young man!!

    I don't mean to sound stupid. Is that a blacktail. The reason I ask is that his color is different from the whitetails in TN. I think he is marked up beautifully.

    California mule deer. Basically a cross from a black tail and a mule deer
