Chili

    Me personally, I like well seasoned food that being said most chili kits come with about 1 1/2 oz of chili powder, which is why I haven't found a kit to my liking.

    I never said I couldn't make a good one, just not a great one. This recipe with some tweaking moved it another step or two in that direction...;)

    Yeah that's what I was wondering I guess; do you go with the packaged amount or do you need more? The packages are almost always quite bland in my experience.

    I don't care for the the chili kits, if I'm going to make chili I use DK's recipe and tweak a few things so everyone can eat it, then add more heat at the table so everyone will enjoy it.:tu

    I don't generally either, but they seem pretty common. I don't generally go for a very hot one either, or so I thought.

    We just ate some tonight, before I freeze the leftovers.
    Holy cow I sprinkled a little too much Cayan on mine, I'm not looking foward to tomorrow morning constitution.:eek::eek::eek::l
