    One thing I do frequently is rent no till drills from my county nrcs office

    I think it’s like ten acres free then $5 per ac

    Can be a great value

    Coming along perfect for duck season
    A lot of guys get there food ready to early
    BIG MISTAKE

    SMARTWEED just now starting to bloom
    Couple hundred acres of this

    what did you do to encourage the smartweed and barnyard grass? did you spray it?

    Is your ground flooded at the moment? My area is on it's second rise... Probably killing everything unless the smartweed had already made seed. Lots of pink blossoms under water.

    I had my flowering smartweed flooded by hurricane Francis. It didn’t receed in time to save it. I’m fortunate to have a great crop of water grass (byg) that didn’t mind the excess water. Hate that the smartweed didn’t keep getting it but will be ok.
