I have hunted with Ruben Perez, have a trip with Capt Moe scheduled, and hunt Pool 9 most of the season, with annual layout hunts on the Great Lakes... I even have had the privilege of hunting flooded timber in Arkansas with my grandfather. Hunts on the Bay for Redheads, and self guided hunts in ND... While hunting the Chesapeake and the Pamilco Sound are on my list. I suppose, after hunting for Kings next year, my bucket list is really just have good hunts with great dogs and good friends and family.

Don't get your hopes up for the Pamlico Sound. It's very hit or miss.

To hunt with Reuben Perez , to go hunt the kings in Alaska , and to go hunt the harlequin. Booked a trip to hunt them this December in Washington state with Capt Dave . Got fingers crossed.

I believe they are still allowed to hunt with sink boxes in eastern Canada?

I would second Pamlico Sound. I would also like Cans on Pool 9. I'd add Jeff Coats off of Chincoteague. Redheads on the Texas coast would be great too.

Much of the Pamlico is closed to the general public by the 'Safe Hunter' law or county game commissions, blind licensing, etc. The rest is desperately overcrowded.
My bucket list is NOT to hunt there.

Adak has Pacific Eiders and Caribou ( not reindeer) but no foxes. St. Paul has foxes and Reindeer but Eiders are Kings and not Pacific. 20151208_131801.jpg 20151205_114804.jpg 20151205_133308.jpg 20171010_152853.jpg

I've taken DIY all the species except for the eiders, black duck, and cackler. Hopefully I'll get a Pacific Eider on Adak in December.

Alaska for a Harlequin has always been a bucket list hunt, we'll see if I can make that happen in the next couple seasons hopefully
