I know, it's crazy. Big reason they're so damn expensive too. I'm all for clean air, but I have a feeling we create as much or more waste and pollution with all the extra stuff that's required to be on an engine now.

4 trucks in 10 ain't a four year interval but I certainly wasn't 'anal'. I'm just simply amazed that even given that guys change trucks like their pants these days, anyone would say anything remotely close after 24k miles. As I said, 'so far' makes a huge difference. Yes, I can see someone saying 'though I've hardly had it any time at all and only put 24K miles on it, this is best truck I've had to this point'.

But again, I'm the minority and it probably shouldn't be at all surprising. Guys have swapped em out these days before I would even begin to make such an assessment. Just the way it is. To each his own. 298K regards.

You obviously missed where I said I had the Tundra less then 6 months. I'm still failing to see the issue here. It's pretty self explanatory on what I meant.

I shoot for about 250k before I really consider it time to think about replacing. No reason that with a little care and routine maintenance a vehicle shouldn't last that long.

Nope, didn't miss it at all.

There is no issue (to me) and I explained quite clearly.

2015 Ecodiesel 30,000 miles zero problems. just returned from a trip to TX from ND. Avg. 26.3 mpg. Pulling my 7x16 enclosed I get between 12 to 16 mpg depending on the wind. I spend 200.00 for oil changes every 10,000 mi. Wife will be needing another vehicle soon, it will be a RAM Ecodiesel .

Why are you spending so much on your oil change? I spend $80.
