Hard to pick between the two, but if I gotta choose, Geese.
One of my old mentor Managers of mine always had this saying..."when given an option, take both!"

Geese....snows first. I've killed anywhere from 100-500 ducks and geese a year for 35 years. I still shake like a 16 year old virgin every time I have geese locked up. NEVER gets old.

Tough. I’ve missed killing ducks over the last 5 years. Just hasn’t been what it used to be. Goose hunting has been my saving grace.

Ever since I was a kid geese have always been something special. Still remember the day I killed my first limit of geese. And that was a limit of 3. Never forget, sideways rain south wind storm. Geese flying between tule patches. Got a snow, speck, and a Ross.

I can tell you, my 3 and 6 goose limits of geese have been just as special, maybe more as the 20 bird limits I’ve shot.

But the dismal duck seasons I’ve had of late, have made me appreciate and long for days when I had fun duck hunts.

ducks - never had the resources to hunt geese. The goose has always been a bonus bird.
