Eating Bone Marrow

    Not intentionally. Ate some accidentally once and it was good.
    BTW, marrow bones with the marrow still in it makes a good stock.

    He can do cheeseburgers too. Most folks aren't willing to pay what he charges for cheeseburgers though.

    Yep, lots of bones are key to good stock. Gives it lots of flavor and body. Not sure I could eat it straight up though.

    Now I haven't tried it on sourdough but it has the texture and flavor profile to complement the marrow

    I’ve had it at fancy restaurants. It looks like what Porter Bayou posted. It’s absolutely delicious, but expensive.

    Haven't had it in a long time but when Mom made beef marrow we fought for it. I remember licking up every single bit I could get out of the bone.

    Now I'm gonna have to ask her to make me some!

    That’s what I’m talking bout. I like em a couple days old in a zip lock and from the bottom of a backpack myself.

    So easy to make, have your butcher cut the bones. Soak in milk for an hour to remove any blood. Season the cut side of the bone with thyme, garlic an S&P.
    Cook in oven at 450* for 15 to 20 minutes, serve with a warm crusty sourdough bread.
