I use the Hamilton beach knife. It's marketed as a kitchen knife and not a fish fillet knife but works very well. And its only about 20 bucks.

Black and Decker from Wally World, $10 I think. Use it a year and pitch it. Has worked for everything that I needed it for.

A friend of mines dad, he buys the mister twister brand. When it dies, he goes to Walmarks and buys a new one. When he goes to Walmarks the next time, he takes the old one back in the new box with receipt, and get his money back.

That’s pretty slick, I just quit buying them after the 3rd or 4th one broke. Use a regular dexter Russel now

He has no shame in his game. He'll just say they should make a better product.

I clean catfish and- any fish- with the rubber handled, build in sharpener in the sheath, gerber fillet knife i got for $12 at kmart like 20 years ago. Everytime i see someone try to use an electric, they might as well be using hedge clippers- wasting and tearing up the meat something fierce
