Who's going and who's been already? Our season in CA opens Saturday:tu Likely won't get out until the middle of next week.

I've shot eight already this fall in Wisconsin. I have two more tags so I might hunt Thanksgiving morning or like last year I shot four on Christmas eve so I might try and fill the tags then again.

WOW- we only can take 2 in fall. Not that there isn't plenty around. I'm gonna try and get out this afternoon. Couldn't make the opener this past weekend. Good luck!

    Good luck to you too.

In Wisconsin you get one permit per fall license and it is $10 for each additional permit. There are seven zones and each zone has only so many permits allotted. You can buy one permit per day until they are all bought. The fall success rate is only 7%. There are over 10,000 tags left to buy.

I took this one with a bow on October 31st here in Indiana. Big tom, 1 1/4" spurs, 10 1/2" beard. 5 yard shot out of my box blind while I was deer hunting. He went maybe 6 feet at the most and died.

Nice. Is that a pellet rifle? Wish we could use them here.
