Went and hunted our little pond near White Sands National Monument. Took me 3 days to get back into the swing of pass shooting, not set up this year for decoys. So far a Ruddy Duck, Green Winged Teal, and Widgeon. All were tasty!

Managed some mallard last time out, sure hope this cold front brings more ducks in. I need to make the drive to Roswell and do some real shooting. Quail is getting a good bit of my time these days too.

3 more teal today, not bad for having very little water.

Way to grind em out dude. Figured you’d be getting lonely in here. Roswell would be a good bet I’d imagine maybe get some honkers and crane. Or just chill where you’re at.

Roswell is on my list after the New Year! Shot like crap today, one green winged teal for 4 shells, like I was dove hunting.
