Duck Season comes in Saturday
I'll be sleeping in.
Ain’t no duks round here ...
Been scouting hard this week. Honestly haven't seen one single duck. Not even a wood duck.
Few birds around. Tomm wont be crazy but should kill a few. next week will be interesting.
Good luck to all and be safe
Just to stir the pot a little, duck season doesnt start in Virginia till next wednesday (nov 21) and will have a 12 day november season thanks to sunday hunting. For all the conversations we have had about that subject, that proves how it hurts our season and our hunting. Gonna miss some SICK weather next week and alot of ducks killed. Oh well. Cant wait to see how they butcher our seasons.
By the time our season comes in...Most birds will.be gone. Be careful.what you wish for...you.just might get it.
Im not wishing for it at all. Its gonna hurt my hunting (and possibly my marriage). Wish stuff could just stay the way it is.
Nothing stays the same, being a waterfowler you should all ready know that. And most times the change is for the worse! Just because you can go on Sunday, doesn't mean you have to go hunting.
This is exactly right, it’s enough hassle trying to get away to build and brush blinds, much less hunt especially with a baby at home. On top of that our season comes in on the tail end of the fall migration. Is it even worth while at point when you have only a few days in November; December always sucks and then it’s hopefully cold enough in January to push some more down here.
Sounds like you VA boys need to get organized to get your seasons better aligned. Or put the right people in place that make those decisions.
