Good luck with your choice.
I hope you pick out a really good puppy that grows into a top-notch hunter.
That's what I meant.
Ok hope the wife doesn't screw this one up. I don't need two big babies. Actually Gracie is a decent gun dog just needs a little more work. She thinks every pheasant owes her money and she's gonna collect .
Btw I let the pup pick me
Raising puppies is hard. The only boy in the litter got a bladder infection and has been struggling for two days up and down. Doc has given him a 50/50 chance of making it. Wife is all tore up has been sitting up with him for the last two nights. We breed not for money but for continuation of the line. We love our goldens not just for the great hunters they are but also for the love they give us.
Well little Milo made it for the last 2 days seems to be doing okay. He's on antibiotics, today he got to go out and play with his 6 sisters. Now the concern is is this a one shot problem or will it be recurring. None the less it means that most likely he will stay with family. We would not put a potential problem puppy out into the general public . He is rapidly getting spoiled with all the attention and being a house dog.
Granddaughter with the litter.
Glad to hear it.
BWT Milo is not the name we would have picked
