Mitch Fishing was great and all the boats around us wondered what we were doing as we pulled fish in all morning while they went blank. I have a special way I fish Berryessa and have done well there almost every time I fish there . We hooked about 15 or so trout and lost several that broke Morts line and I had a hog jump at the boat and shook the hook. Trolling speed was the key at 2.7 MPH to 3 MPH We caught your standard Rainbows and eagle strain bows also.. I plan on going again toward the end of the week if I can get a deck hand Mort can't go till next week.

Sounds great Ray. Good deckhands are hard to find, so don't be too tough on him.
When I'm the guest/(deckhand), I figure buying the bait, ice, launch fees,.... and contributing for gas, (of course beer and making a good lunch!),..... oh, and helping clean up the boat and filleting,... is the least one should do. :grvn

So you're not too old to train him right, are you?

    Mitch
