Harvest sheet at Kankakee

    The "kill sheet" has fictitious information. Many hunters are not very honest about writing down an accurate harvest. When birds are not check in at a checking station the information cannot be taken seriously. The party number is the only thing that could be true on harvest sheets. That's the facts like it or not.

    Fridays corn unit opener there were 138 partys. We got choice 137. That's the most groups I have seen done there in a while. I think they had 85 on Saturday.

    I went to the Kank yesterday. We killed a 3 man limit with no kill sheets provided. Not sure how we did that...oh wait...we scouted.

    According to Indianapolis the reason the harvest report was changes was because of all of the false information that was being provided by some hunters.

    Are you saying that hunters were not telling the truth about what they killed ?????

    And there are a lot don't report what they killed too
    When you have a blind that you know is a bad blind and all then all of a sudden it shoots a limit. You know that's not true. Then you have the ones that is a good blind and it goes a few days with nothing and the same guys hunting it everyday.

    Wow,things have changed sincedI last hunted The Kank back in 1973.I miss some of it I must admit.I live in the desert now and it's nothing like back there.
    I dont miss drawing that little blank disc though.
