I got a email for a retailer advertising that there's a price drop for the new Hevi-X ammo from $440 to $320 a case for 3 1/2, from $380 to $300 a case for 3". and from $340 to $220 a case for 2 3/4. Who in the heck is buying this stuff for this price? I will pass until they come back to earth and get it down to reasonable price. Any one buying this stuff? WOW.. I like the regular Hevi steel and when I can get it on sale will usually pick some up and ducks die when I shoot straight. For $300 a case I can usually get 2 or 3 cases of steel. I get that it's Tungsten, but can anyone justifie needing it for 2 to 3 times as much as steel that kills just fine when you shoot them in the face? Maybe I'm just a cheap *******, Dang. CAGWP

    I shoot it. Love it.

Ask anyone who hunts with me what that tungsten does.

I’m asking my local ammo shop if they’ll do some FFL ammo buying for me at the sale price for a fee. $279/case for 3” is killer.

Less shells expended. Less cripples. Doesn’t end up costing much more than premium steel.

I bought a few boxes to try including 6s and it is flat deadly. I am going to buy some for the 20 gauge as I like shooting the new A400 20. Just trying to line up the ffl. Last I checked, that retailer would not ship ammo to Ca, didn't want to deal with it.

Just put in a request for some 20g. Need to test those loads out. The 12g is deadly.

Discontinued, being replaced by updated version...

Hunted with two guys in NE one year, both complaining the wives had put them on a budget that year...$100,000...for just their turkey hunts...

I think folks should spend their own cabbage as they please...

So, what your saying is, I am a cheap *******. Copy. Apparently bass-tard is not allowed here, but I am still cheap.
