    You'll like this one. This is my East-Indian pharmacist , who has turned into a fishing junkie, with a nice master rainbow he caught a couple weeks ago. Note the portable ice shack in the back. Insulated, heated with a propane Mr. buddy, and sight-fished with an Aquaview 715c. He caught 3 masters that day and is now a specialist master angler for Rainbows. On to the brookies!

    I would be fishing right now, but with windchill this morning it was close to -50, and I don't do -50 anymore.

    I tried fishing when our lakes froze over, but no matter how hard I tried, the lures just kept bouncing off.

    Yes! Travel covers are on for driving then when you get to your spot Just pop the lid,drill,fish..

    If you're taking young ones, have activities for the slow times. Football, frisbee, sled, saucers. A fire on the ice is always fun. Hot dogs, marshmallows.
