Cabelas stopped standing behind their waders a long time ago...

    I think it's a store-by-store basis.

Did they state anything about turn around time on repairs (warrantied or otherwise)? It would suck to drop a grand on waders and have a seam go out right when the season heats up and you have time off from work, etc. Then have to wait a couple of weeks to send them back, be repaired, and then be sent back. Imagine trying to do that right around Christmas when shipping times can be stretched out, repair employees on vacation, and the season heats up for lots of areas.

You'd probably need to have a backup pair or just tough it out in a leaky $1,000 pair of waders the rest of the season and then send them back.

Talk about starting every morning with a feeling of buyer's remorse! Like having a $60k truck in the driveway that won't start.
