At what age is it legal to hunt waterfowl in your state. In PA 12 years old.
The day you are born.
Any age. Under 12 you must be accompanied by an adult.
Don't have kids but I'm pretty sure it's the same here.
10yo minimum. Must be accompanied by a licensed adult.
"Junior Hunter" until age 16. Must pass Hunters Safety Course prior to age 16.
I think that having my daughter go along with me for 5 years BEFORE carrying a gun allowed her to focus on different aspects of the hunt (decoys, camo, blinds, etc.) and learn about proper gun handling before doing it herself.
As soon as they can pass the Hunter's Safety test without aid.
As soon as they can handle the Youth 20ga. Oldest was seven about to turn 8 when killed his first...
Youngest was eight and got his first this season...
Of course they've been going with me before they could swing the gun...
Look forward to the next few years together....
Ohio = Any age can hunt, under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Utah = any age, must past hunters safety course.
