Find myself suddenly 67, but blessed with a life that's seen me duck hunting virtually, if not, every open season day for the past 30-some. And more than most, no doubt, for the decade prior. Perhaps trying to make up for a deprived childhood largely wasted on other game.

In my 60's and have been hunting ducks on and off for 40 years-for the first 20 years I was duck shooter and the last 20 in eastern Washington have become a duck hunter-at least in my mind. Started hunting in California, but moved to Alaska-the only thing I miss from California is the Dutch Goose in Menlo Park.

62 years old. Can't remember not hunting with my family and my grandpa. Didn't shoot till I was 11 but always went and handled the dogs and such. Learned to row a boat at a early age and pick up decoys. Still hate doing it.

57, and chasing mallards for 33 years. Was introduce to the sport while in college, and darn near didn't graduate from HSU. Quite an addiction.

30 y/o. Been in the marsh since the age of 7 and actively hunting since 12. Dad didn't blow a call so I taught myself on a DR-85 and the instructional tape that came with it. Now calling and watching birds react is my favorite part of the game.

42 y/o. Got talked into a waterfowl hunt a mere 2 years ago and was hooked. Been chasing upland birds since I was 12.

I went to HSU a couple years before you, and already had the addiction. Between that, salmon, steelhead, and rockfishing it's amazing I graduated too! Used to hunt Arcata Bay either down by the Arcata launch ramp or in Mad River slough. Had a homemade coffin boat that I rowed. Used to walk in Mad River slough until I saw the dorsal fin of about a 600 Lb. shark (Nurse Shark)! Lost a wigeon to a sea lion in that slough.
