Maybe instead of acquiring more duck clubs to benefit a few hunters a weekend the CWA can build a viaduct over that road to get hunters to those refuges when that one little drop of water rises Butte Creek.

It’s almost like anything they can do to not have these places open and functional. I understand if there is a safety hazard , hwy flooded for miles , cal trans shuts the road etc. but if gridley colusa is indeed open then there is no reason not to open, if that is the reason given to have LDC shut down. Jesus, they can’t get these places flooded early anymore, 50 percent of the season for almost every nvr they are reduced quotas for some reason or another. Never remember all of these closures and reduced quota deals in the 80’s and 90’s...

Jesus doesn't worry about flooded roads...he can still walk right out to the blind.

If ldc is closed due to the creek, that one thing. If it’s closed due to the GC hwy being closed, not acceptable. Coming in from the east isn’t a problem. And now the county says it’s open? And if the creek crested, shut down the whole place? I’m glad to see sutter and hs keeping what can be open, open.

IF the Hwy is open it should be open with a partial quota. Open up parking lot 2 and the check station lot. Open blinds 5-10 and FR east of the 100 drain and north of the road between lot 2 and 3. If folks want to walk a LONG way give them that option.

It matters not what the peasants think the peasants must obey the crown and take the privilege of hunting the kings land when he sees fit

If it pleases the crown, may I hunt in waters that are deeper than normal?
