With no real push of weather and only a few weeks until Feb 1 figured it was time to start the push thread. Here in southern Illinois snow geese all left north on the warm up last week. We r empty and with no weather other than this weekend not real sure there will be much to push thru us

In Cent Illinois we are loaded, that is, until this weekend. Anywhere from 1-6 inches of snow from about I-80 and south. They are smart enough birds, they might just go north where there is no snow? Should be cold enough to make some good ice coupled with the snow this weekend, I would guess a lot push south of the snow line. 15 day forecast is still not cold enough to really bring on winter?

I believe some of those IL birds are jumping over the river, I've seen quite a few traveling the river bottoms north of St. Louis the past few days.

That's our concern down here is the snow pushes them north and not south we are in the 4 inch range and with no weather innthe 15 day forcast our season could be only a few days long catching what little is south of Arkansas

Hopefully those bastages go south and start a normal migration later this month. We have like middle of Feb numbers and gaining daily. I do not think they will screw with this snow though

Open water and open fields, they won't be south for very long.

Bumped our snow forecast up a bit, 5-7 inches near Havana and more to the south. A little less to the north, but looks like all the way past I-80 will see some snow. That should push them back to Arkansas!
