This is probably what we are going to get. Hoping for 1 hen mallard with our 1 pintail as those matched up when we went to 1 pintail or 30 days on pintails in the past. But, probably not going to happen.

2 Hen mallards is for the guys who spray and pray at 50 yards during first light and/or don't have the skills to ID before a shot is made!

I liked it better with the point system! 1 hen Mallard and your done for the day!

Let's make America great again!!! BRING BACK THE POINT SYSTEM....

Dead hens don't lay eggs! and don't give me that BS about study's have shown that it makes no difference in the fall flight if you shoot hens! I know for a fact if I shoot a hen mallard it has zero chances of laying eggs in the spring! If I let it fly off it has a chance! Can't argue that!

Why not make it 1/2 hour after sundown. Man could kill a lot of ducks in that time. :yes

Mallets are you a drake only shooter during early teal season too? Do you always pass on the goose and take the gander instead?
The one hen only argument is old. Sure I'd rather shoot a drake than the hen. However, I'm sure there are a lot of guys like me that hunt ducks only a handful of times during the season and appreciate being able to harvest something for the table, even if that's a hen or two due to limited opportunities. They all eat the same.

I ain't mis-iding them hens I whack and I've pounded plenty of them at 50 feet. Always enjoy how the 'sense of superiority' always infects these conversations when someone disagrees about whackin' hens. You pass up on all of them you want, more for me that way. :dv

For all the biologist who stand up and speak about how killing hens have no impact on the population is retarded. If Tuleman shot this hen in the pic deep in the cattails of CB, how many of those babies behind her would of migrated for Mallets to kill in 6 inch deep flooded millet?

From 1999 to 2009 we had a limit of 1 pintail and 1 hen mallard. Sad that was not brought up last night. Our sport is getting away from us and if we don't do anything about it soon, it will bite us in the ***
