New tss shot

    50 yds would probably be my longest shot. I was just hoping to get a even better pattern then my mag blends. Now way I'd try a shot at 80 or over. I like em close

    FYI .. if you hadn't seen it, MPW has Apex TSS in 7.5's, 8's & 9's, if I read the ad right.

    The perfect turkey load would be devastating at 40 yards and turn to water at 41.

    why would l shoot a load that cost 10-12$/shot if Ive consistently killed birds under forty yards for decades with essentially the same lead load through the same gun?

    Federal TSS was $26 for a box of 5 at NWTF convention. I went with 9 shot in 20

    Local gun shop near me has federal 3.5 #9 for 42 a box and coupon for $18 rebate

    To me, gobbler hunting is about calling him in close,not shooting him at 80+yds

    I agree 100% it would be hard to get me to take a 50yd shot, no way I'd shoot any farther. I don' care what kind of shell it was. 30 to 40 is my normal range, just want to be as effective as I can in that range
