Just got in 2 of the new Zink calls. I got the ph2 double magnum and the power speck. They are everything I expected out of Zink for the upcoming season.

Its very realistic sounding. It has all the tone ranges to make the yodel and feeding clucks. It has a very pure sound. It is very easy to use and I think it will be very effective.

The PH-1 Open Water is made for the wide open with a ringing high end, but also has a great low end.

The PH-2 Double Magnum is loud and ducky. It has two .014 reeds that make it raspy

    The Double magnum is $125.00

Heres another picture of the double magnum. This is my personal one. There are definate differences between the double magnum and xr-2. It is similar, but the rim is not as wide.

    and for comparison, the XR-2

Is the new Double mag easier to run than the old xr-2 ? If it sounds as good as the xr-2 ....... and it's easier to run.... that will certainly be a call I will need to add to my lanyard ....... I like the old xr-2 but I just can't get it to run right every time I pick it up ....... :z
