"This present age is so flippant that if a man loves the Saviour he is styled a fanatic, and if he hates the powers of evil he is named a bigot." C.H. Spurgeon 1834–1892

    Solomon said it as well.
    Ecclesiastes 1:9
"What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun."

Do we really thing we can surprise God? Many today seem to think so. They try so hard to prove to him that they'll change. They can be different that all the other sinners. For those that belong to God immutability is peace. God changed them. If you belong its forever. Every day is one day closer to the Promise.

So I had to look up fanatic. It's not unique that Christians are called that. There forgiven. We have been pardoned by the Judge and adopted by the Creator of the universe. It's no big surprise bigots are set apart from the world. Evil knows them. They have betrayed their former father. He hates them now. Just point your finger at something tomorrow and declare it as evil and you'll see.

Thank you Lord for making me a fanatical bigot in the eyes of the world.
