Already posted these on the Cali board, but these are my grandfather at age 12 at his ark on San Francisco Bay, circa 1918.

Looks like a 1941 Ford Sedan to me...but I can't see the bottom of the grill.

My father in law served a church mission in Africa in 1950-51. He also hunted while he was there. and had a few cool hunting pictures .
Back in Idaho all his hounds were named with the first or last name of the person the dog came from,.. middle name was color of the dog in other languages and likely the same politically incorrect was used.
My dad had some impressive dead animal pictures from the lake 40's early 50's , 100 mink while on 10 days leave, literally piles of pheasants from near Lafayette Minnesota when he guided before Korea, He was also hired and had poles of whitetails when party hunting was accepted in the early 50's. All that history was lost in a house fire.
An elderly fellow gave me some pics when his dad was guiding on the Bear River Club in Utah. I gave awy most of the pics to guys that the pics may mean something to them .

    With a "maybe" answer.

Ironically, a pic from the time of the OP would now qualify to be included in the thread.
