    Slow, down here on the low end. Killing a few birds on my place each day but at best barely enough entertainment for one guy in the pit. OS is hunting all positions, with very few birds and most are BWT. DC is going to open the remaining positions after the split. Also low numbers at DC but with a good acorn crop, last month of season might be good in the woods.

    I hunt a “traffic” area, that sits between Mingo/DC and OS. If there’s not alot, (by alot I mean at least 150k-200k) of birds on each these areas combined, shooting will be stale. I’ve seen it when there’s alot of birds but, they won’t move until that last 30 minutes after LST. It takes that hard NW wind accompanied by rain, sleet, thunder and lightning to make it an awesome hunt.
