I am considering a trip to Alaska next fall and a wondering if anybody has a recommendation for a reputable outfitter.

Ideally I would like to book a cast and blast trip targeting puddle ducks and fly rod silver salmon. If possible I would like to also have the option to chase barrows golden eye and harlequin for a day but I'm not look for a sea-duck centered trip.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Chris

Jeff Wasley Four Flyways. If you go in September good salmon fishing and awesome puddle duck and brant hunting. You would need to talk to him about the best times for specific species.

Where the silvers and barrows and harlequin are edible/mountable is tough. In October, you can go to Cordova in your own and hunt puddle ducks and catch silvers easily on your own. As for the sea ducks, usually after Halloween is when the population gets better along with the plumage. Talk to Tim at Alaska Wildfowl adventures for plenty of barrows and harlies.
