PSA Don't forget the repellent...

    Went out to the grasslands this weekend to take a look around. I have never seen so many mosquitoes! Probably the worst I have ever seen it!

    Had the natural repellent here today...high temp of 41. Looking at 1-3" of snow for tomorrow.

    This is a great reminder. I stuck a new bottle in the blind bag and an extra in the polaris glove box. The skeeters will absolutely carry you away in the early dawn hours if no wind. I can charge 4 bucks per spray to my buddies that forgot theirs.

    Good news.. never seen one skeeter in the grasslands... lot cooler and nice little breeze...

    Bad News..... never seen one duck...none, did see one monster of a buck trying to cross 165 going into the refuge..monster !!!

    Looks like I may be the guy who must leave the deet at home with this duratouch on my Maxus.
    The reviews say deet will leave my gun in mush.

    Not just duratouch but most camo finishes, that 100% deet stuff is rough on em. I dont find I need 100% deet, but thats just me.

    Pretty Fly for a White Guy.
    Watch bezels too. Deet will take the numbers off a Luminox in a hurry.
