Hey guys......to those of you that run pulsators, where do you like to put them in your spread? I just picked up three of the new higdon XS's and have never ran a motion decoy like this. Trying to get away from the spinners as I think they harm more than help in my area.....it's hard enough to kill ducks in northern Ohio without flaring birds.

Mixed amongst your regular decoys and where ya want the birds to work best.

I just stick it in front of the blind with a few other decoys around it.

We have 4 of them and IMO they are the ONLY motion decoy you need for ducks. We have very calm weather and decoys look like they are sitting on a mirror.I try and use mine where all the decoys I put out get ripples.I like to use about 12 decoys per pulsator.

I have the 4 pack hardwired pulsators. Put them in the heart of my group closest to the blind, helps ripple the water and create water sound and movement closest to the blind.
Actually run decoys closer than id prefer due to cord length, i may buy an extension to get it a little further from the blind.

    As Benny used to say,
If you run sybians, location will not matter that much.

I've got a few of those H2o magnet ones that use 2 AAbatteries...on dead calm days, i'll put them out amoungst the decoys to make a little ripple thru the spread. Like previously posted- about 1 per dozen decoys

As mentioned. I put them one in the center of each pod of decoys. Those Higdons are THE best---bar none.
