I keep a 100 pack in my truck at all times.
seiowa , my season here starts in Sept , and runs into Jan. and I've swatted plenty of sketters in Dec.with snow on the ground . We are farther south than parts of California . I've hunted in a T-shirt in Nov.
I keep 2 of those energizer headlamps with me. One on my head and one in the bag. I wait for them to go on sale at walmart in the 2 pack and buy a couple. If i use it 5 times and lose it im not out much.
No one has mentioned personal anti freeze. Whiskey, Vodka, etc.. and cold beer on warm days to keep from over heating.

Eye drops or artificial tears. I have eye issues to begin with. But getting something in your eye out in the marsh is awful.
If you wear glasses you may want to try prescription safety glasses. I got some for shooting to keep powder blowback and the harsh salt winds out of my eyes. One of the best investments I have made.
Zip ties and bamboo poles and some brushing material I can have you a hell of a blind in less that an hour.
Who needs a lighter? A friend and I got stranded on an island by the falling tide while it was snowing, we used some gas from and extra tank and a flare gun.
