Very cool. I possibly used that bag delivering papers in my youth. Lodi News Sentinal is still in existence.

Not sure if it is a treasure, but all good for decoys. I’m thinking Mak, Freefall and Gaddy have never seen one of those. Dang youngins. I remember loading them up with papers at 0 dark in the early 70’s.

I never used one as a decoy bag but I used that same bag delivering the lodi news sentinel from my 10 speed during middle school. I used that money to buy my first 870. Lots of memories.

Started with a old Army duffel bag one strap carry. When I stared using the paper sacks I felt like I was living high on the hog it was so comfortable!

Same here the Army bag was brutal once it got wet.
We used the paperboy bags, then my old paperboy standing 2 wheel cart for the long walk through the cattle pastures on Kesterson refuge as long as it was dry it was great.

Pinole Progress for me although my bag was from the Richmond Independent. My is died green too, I just found it during my move to Idaho, last used at the lodge in the 80's. 12 decks, small lunch pail and a box of lead!

What is this “newspaper” that you old guys speak of? Is it like a blog, or more like Facebook? It must be big to need such a big bag to carry it.
