I have an Echo Timber wood/poly single reed and a poly Open Water single reed. Can either of these calls be made into and XLT without changing the insert and just changing the reed and wedge? What different Echo calls can be made from the 2 I have by just swapping reeds and wedge?

What do you want them to do (differently)? Call Rick, or pay a visit to his shop in beebe. It looks like he has a staff member that lives in Dexter, too.

I live between Dexter and Puxico and by chance, do you know the staff members name?
I'm wondering if the inserts have to be changed also. Just kind of wondering what calls can be had by modifying the ones I have?

I guess what I'm eluding to, is there a difference in insert length and bore diameter, in the single reed calls. Timber, Timber XLT, Open Water, ODB, and Meat Hanger?
