One problem I've seen is how hard the gravel island blinds are. So to have like a flip top you need a base frame so now your talking more weight to carry ect

Here's an idea - it worked for 100+ years of waterfowl hunting, before the development of all the commercialized money making camo patterns and other modern over-hyped concealment gizmos: Drab colors and no movement.

74E87843-FDC4-4C9A-AEE2-5608BDB90A72.jpeg Last Wednesday my Dad and I hunted a 4 man blind. Since just the two of us took the tubs ( two ) and placed one one either side of the blind running parallel. Placed the lids on top of the tubs for some elevation Used four fast grass panels and then cover on that. Too bad there weren’t more birds around. You can see the dog on the bottom right and my Dad is somewhere on the other side.

Thumbs down:fp I had on the Foamy oak Extreme Tumble Weed in 3D (Flatbill Edition)at Modoc the other day.

Darn thing got wet and froze solid. It was like 1 inch plywood. I fell over on the ice and could not get up four 6 hours.

This worked. Plastic garden fencing with tules woven in. zip tied stakes so we could plant them around the blind. Rolled up for easy transport.

I'd rather not rely on that on a mud flat with a few gaping black holes.
