Got drawn for the Pheasant draw twice in a row, twice in 40 years! Blanked the Waterfowl draws! Pheasant hunting must be way down? Got a area in Newton Co.

No you just have dumb luck. The number of applicants has remained pretty consistent around 5000.

None of my friends got drawn for the Pheasant hunts. There was 6 of us that put in for them.

There's roughly 230 spots for 5000 people who put in. Odds are not weighed in your favor. I have put in for 35 years and been drawn twice. My Dad has put in for at least that and been drawn once.
