What I do is have at least 4 steps between decoys and face decoys in all different directions

Thank you for that. now it has me thinking of why the geese would always come try to land coming from the eastside of my spread
First off I always run about 3-5 times more of them. I tend to set them closer than full bodies and set them in a v-board formation when using singles. Go heavy upwind and leave a tail down wind. I prefer to set up for crossing shots with silos where incoming or side shots doesn’t matter much to me over full bodies.
They can be the most effective decoy out here especially in the late season for some rewason. Heres a spread of pretty much all divebombs with a hand full of silosocks mixed in for good measure.
How many decoys are you running there? I just ordered 5 dozen today.
Not sure think it was around 15 doz.
