The baggies inside an MRE are the best! They are bulletproof

Dropped my S9 in a pond about a month after it got it. It still works fine. It was only there maybe 30 seconds and is in an Otterbox though.

Way I look at it I'm hunting and the rest of the world can just leave me be for a few hours, leave it in the blind or better yet in your truck. I know some of you may be waiting for a call from the Pope or Queen of England, but I always thought my time hunting was special so leave a message or call back later !!

I've got a couple of Mossy Oak camo shirts that have a Velcro closure on the breast pockets. I hate them when I'm deer hunting because opening the pocket makes so much noise.

While I wouldn't complain if cell phones had never been invented, the best thing they brought to the table is allowing many of us to hunt while also being "in the office."

I understand and another reason why I left it in the truck or the blind, being in business for myself for 25 years I never once got a phone call that was that earth shaking or missed out on a deal that would have made me rich.
