I lost my dad several years ago to ALS. He was my best friend and hero all wrapped up into one. As a police officer he was larger than life to me as a kid and as a friend and mentor he taught me the love of the outdoors and the too many other life lessons to count. I thought it would be cool to have a duck call or two built in his memory. Over the past couple of years it’s morphed into a lot more. The lanyard gets taken out in late January each year around his birthday. I’ve gotten to the point that I have to rotate calls, but they all get hunted! These calls aren’t for the shelf.

All of these calls are custom made with no more direction given to the maker other than a thin blue line call. The best part has been seeing the creativity and vision the call makers come up with themselves.

Currently I have calls from Wingert, RNT, Earnie Ross, Coon Creek, Riceland, Hatchel Custom Calls, Raggio, Ostovic and Addiction. Coming soon (hopefully) I have additions from Battle Creek, MiG, Bellwether and MR.

My short list of makers I’d most like to add are Stump, Ronnie Turner, Brad Samples and John Stephens. If you have any other suggestions of makers I shouldn’t miss, please share!

You got some fine looking calls there, but that lanyard is flat out amazing.
Sorry for your loss, ALS is a nasty disease to say the least.
Your Pop's would be proud of you.:yes:yes:tu

I saw the photo on facebook but I didn't hear the story. Thank you for sharing! Sorry for the loss of your dad.

You should try to get a wingerts whistle. Pacific calls do a lot of custom work but they are all CNC. It seems like you have a sweet list already!

Whistle on the far right with the engraving is a Wingert. That’s one of the first ones I added. Aaron’s a good dude!
