Nice looking bird but as I told someone over the weekend, the only eagle head going on my wall is one I personally shoot in Ca. Hopefully I will shoot a couple next week when up in AB.

I have been seeing more and more every year. Never even shot at one with 18 years of experience and then killed 3 last year.

I shot a juvie blue last year. We are seeing them, just not one came in close enough yet that is fully plumed out.

Cool bird. Coming out of the Juvi phase where they're entirely jet black maybe, coolest bird I've ever seen. Pumpgunner got one in Sask one year, trophy for sure.

    Nice job!

White bellies and white patches elsewhere are called interphase. Interphase birds are my favorite.
