Tougher conditions than normal this time of year....how are you guys doing?
Scratching away Bones. Had the pleasure of introducing some newcomers to the sport last week. The wood ducks have avoided me more than usual, but like you said, lots of water everywhere.
Bones here's some of the W. Mass. Duck Hunter's Assoc. members that did OK on wood ducks in the Berkshires.
Henry's partner is not a member so we didn't take his picture.lol
Michael with a mixed bag.
Paul's banded woodie.
Paul and Billy limited on woodies.
Since my partner and I managed only half a limit of woodies he wanted to remain anonymous.
Ended with 4 woodies on the central opener. We did shoot this one stud. Back at tomorrow morning.
A lot of banded woodies this year.
FYI, Mass. Waterfowl Biologist banded 672 woodies, 136 mallards, 12 greenwings, this year plus he captured another 66 ducks that were already banded.
